The 18th China Drama Festival opened in Hangzhou on November 8th, showcasing the outstanding achievements of China's theatrical art inheritance and innovation in recent years.
There are various types of plays to be performed in this drama festival, including 15 traditional typessuch as Beijing Opera, Qin Opera Opera, Yue Opera, Huangmei Opera, and Jin Opera, as well as modern drama, musical, children's drama, ballet, etc. At the same time, the adaptation and reproduction of classic works is also a major highlight of this drama festival. Among the selected plays, the drama "Thunderstorm", the musical "Luzhen", the ballet "The Legend of the White Snake", and the musical "Home" reproduce the classic charm in different forms of artistic expression, reflecting the artistic consciousness of theater workers in the new eratoinherit and innovateexcellenttraditional Chinese culture.
