Guided by the China Calligraphers Association and sponsored by the China National Academy of Painting and the Hubei Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Hubei Contemporary Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Exhibition opened at the China National Academy of Painting Art Museum on January3.

With Jingchu culture as the core and thematic calligraphy creation as the entry point, the exhibition systematically combs and presents Jingchu calligraphy as a whole. Through the narration of three chapters, such as "The Great Yangtze River" and "The World of Bamboo Strips", a total of 175 pieces of calligraphy and seal cutting works are displayed.

This exhibition focuses on the transformation and the expression of the times of traditional classics, and takes root in the mountains, rivers and regional civilization for thematic creation, which further enriches the cultural connotation of jingchu, and is of great significance to cultivating jingchu calligraphy talents and promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of Jingchu regional calligraphy.
