The highly anticipated dragon-themed lantern group has taken shape to create a stunning setting for the upcoming annual lantern fair at Shanghai's iconic Yuyuan Garden to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. This year's lantern construction was particularly difficult, marking the most challenging task in the history of the event, according to the organizer.
The 29th Shanghai Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival will be held from the evening of January 21, lasting more than 40 days. Various colorful lantern installations will showcase the beauty of traditional Chinese culture and art, producing a joyful festival with an oriental aesthetic.
