Among them, the stone carvings of the Wuliang Family Tombs are the most complete and typical group of stone carving and portrait buildings preserved during the Eastern Han Dynasty. In 1961, it was listedby the State Council as one of the first national-level key cultural relics protection units, together with the Confucius Temple, Mansion and Cemetery in Qufu and others. The Wu Family Tombsare comparatively well preserved, so it is of extremely high historical, scientific, and artistic value. This exhibition features selected stone carvings from the Wu Family Tombs, Xiaotang Mountain Stone Temple, and stone tablets unearthed from Song Mountain in Jiaxiang, as well as research achievements from various dynasties and advanced interactive display methods, bringing a visual feast and artistic enjoyment to the audience.Jiaxiang is hometown of Zengzi, Confucius’s most important disciples and writer of the“Great Learning”.
